It was approxiamately 2 1/2 years ago when I received a phone call that changed the direction and focus of my life.
At that stage I was quite disillusioned with my weight problem and lacked motivation to do anything about it. Karl had to work hard to talk me into him for 10 PT sessions. After those first 10 weeks I was hooked on pt. He taught me how to do cardio hard & effectively which I did for 5 days per week and he slowly and progressively put me through a resistance program once per week. He also encourged me to change my eating habits which I did. Over 8 months I lost 20kg, became strong, fit, healthy and energised. I was so hooked I started to have PT twice per week and boxing became my favourite. I now see him 3 times per week - I would have PT everyday of the week if I had the time!
Karl has always encouraged me to reach for my best and has pushed me hard to get there. His weights and boxing sessions are awesome.I have never worked harder in my life than in those PT sessions. Now I am stronger than I ever imagined would be possible, I can run for miles, push ups and squats are easy.
I look good & feel great! I could never have done this on my own.

Firstly, I have become comfortable with how my body looks and feels. I feel stronger, my cellulite is significantly reduced , I feel and look toned and my posture has improved.
Secondly, after my workout, I feel the best that I feel all week. I can arrive feeling tired, nervous (ready for chinups), sometimes even a bit down. I always leave feeling great.
Most importantly, I feel I have met a wonderful friend & I enjoy sharing the news of our week.

Personal training with Karl over the years has given me insight to fitness with a different outlook! Karl has a great personality, and a good sense of humour. He is not one of those excessive cheerleader types; just supportive and a great temperament
I have to ask myself how much this man loves his job? I'd say a whole lot.... especially as I love to tell him on a weekly basis how much I hate him. Yet strangely enough week after week I come back for more? Karl always makes each session interesting and manages to motivate me to get out there and give it a go. As much as I tell him no he gets me to do it. I much as I never want to go I'm always glad I did once its over!

As a busy working mum it can be difficult to find the time to workout, thats why having the flexibilty of a personal trainer is great.
I really enjoy my personal training sessions with Karl as you have the privacy and one on one training to suit your individual needs. Also the fact that there are no joining fees or expensive memberships.
